Rust Edited

Both of these images were edited in camera raw only. The grass image I adjusted the took out a little of the blue and added in some green. This image also had the vibrance and saturation bumped up to really bring out the bright colors, and I added a sight vignette. The rust image had just a few adjustments in camera raw, just enough to bring out the colors. I gave the image more contrast, vibrance, and saturation.

Temple

Both of these panoramic's were shot with a tripod. I shot a series of photos and then used photomerge in photoshop to put them together. The temple shot I used content aware fill in photoshop to fill in some blank spots. Both images were cropped and adjusted in camera raw and in photoshop to enhance the colors and give a more dramatic feel. I really like how both turned out. I felt like when I took the photos I had an image in my head of what I wanted the final product to look like and I really feel like I accomplished my 'vision.'

Edit 3

1. Maddox and Friend, May 5, 2011 at 6:16 pm, McKinney, Texas, 4.5, 1/500, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

This edit I used a smart filter and a motion blur. I wanted Maddox to look like the world was spinning around him as he was playing.

2. Daddy and Son, May 5, 2011 at 6:24 pm, McKinney, Texas, 5.0, 1/40, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

This photo had enhancements with the levels to bring out the colors and make it more vibrant. The father's face was masked out of the levels so he didn't look unnaturally dark.

Flora and Fauna

1. Meer Cat, May 6, 2011 at 12:09 pm, Dallas, Texas, 4.6, 1/400, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

This Meer Cat was so cute. I had to do a little cropping and give it a little richness through the levels. It's just such a cute animal!!

2. Pink Flower, May 6, 2011 at 12:30 pm, Dallas, Texas, 5.6, 1/500, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

The saturation and levels were both boosted to bring out the best color in the image. The photo was also cropped just a bit.

3. Yellow Flower, May 6, 2011 at 12:47 pm, Dallas, Texas, 5.6, 1/800, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

This was one of my favorite flower pictures from the day. I love how the light rests perfectly on the flower and the contrast from the brightness of the flower and the darkness around it. I bumped up the saturation on the yellow flower just a bit and the image was cropped as well.

4. Curious Bird, May 6, 2011 at 11:53 pm, Dallas, Texas, 4.5, 1/200, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

I love this bird. I was at the Dallas Fort Worth Zoo in the bird cage. Where most birds seemed to shy away from the camera this one came right up to my lens and let me capture a shot. I bumped up the saturation and the levels just a bit in this photo.

Cut Outs

Photo 3: Original Earrings, April 24, 2011 at 7:00 am, Rexburg, 4.9, 1/13, Cannon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

I took the photo into photoshop cropped it, cleaned up the earrings a little bit and then cut them from the background.

Past Photos

Photo 1: cloudNINE Winter 2010, April 7, 2010 at 6:37 pm, Rexburg, 7.1, 1/50, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi, Tripod and Self Timer Used.

This photo I posed every one first then got them laughing. I used photoshop to turn b/w, and to place the cloudNINE Logo. This is actually a mesh of two photos because the first two girls looked good in one and the rest looked good in another.

Photo 2: cloudNINE Winter 2011, April 2, 2011 at 11:46 am, Rexburg, 4.6, 1/60, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

I used levels to make a more balanced photo then placed in the cloudNINE logo. To learn more about cloudNINE please go to nataliehupe.blogspot.com.

Photo 3: Our Mountain Rocks, August 2, 2010 at 1:51 pm, Rexburg, 6.3, 1/200, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

I used Dynamic Photo to bring out the colors. I wanted it to feel like the colors were vibrant and the rocks were very close.

Photo 4: Flower, February 2, 2010 at 4:09 pm, Rexburg, 4.9, 1/60, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

This photo is as is. I did not use anything to enhance the colors.

Photo 5: Pink Flowers, May 18, 2010 at 7:07 pm, Rexburg, 4.5, 1/125, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

This photo is also as is. I love the way the light shines through the leaves and the petals.
